Mig/tig Welders required for ongoing work in Rolleston

We are looking for experienced mig/tig welders for ongoing work in the Fabrication Department.

The hours are 6.45am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday, with some overtime available on occasions (this will be paid at time and a half)

To be suitable for this position you need the following:

  • Previous experience mig/tig welder (tickets not required)
  • Be able to pass a drug screen
  • Must have a clean criminal record
  • Have 2 work-related references for your welding.

This position is based in Rolleston – Reliable transport is required.

We are seeking a Part Time Warehouse Assistant to assist in a small recycling plant.

Approx 4/5 hours a day, starting at 7am, based in Hornby – Monday to Friday.

Main Duties Include-


Recycling Paint
Machine Operating
Forklift Driving – Osh Cert required
Palletising
Using hand tools 
Heavy Lifting at times
General Warehouse Duties

Manufacturing Assembler Required – Day shift, 6.45am to 3.15pm
 
We are seeking an experienced Assembler to join the New Line or someone who has worked in a similar environment.
Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to follow instructions.

This opportunity is based on 40 hours, Monday to Friday with overtime paid after 40 hours at T1.5 with other benefits of employment.

Please note this position is for Auckland, due to the high demand for Laboratory Technician and Covid-19 Restrictions, training will be in Christchurch then onto Auckland for permanent employment.

The position involves testing samples of asbestos (please note you will not be touching the samples without gloves). Weighing the samples and recording data.
Long-term employment will be offered for the right candidate. Hours are 8 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
key duties may include:-
•To process and test samples
•To store and maintain inventory of samples after testing
•To maintain good lab practice at all times, to ensure the highest quality service to our customers
•To operate in accordance with the company’s Quality and
•To keep the lab and equipment in a good physical condition at all times
•To maintain a positive, professional and safe working environment, being mindful of the company’s Health and Safety procedures
The premises is well ventilated and you will be Fitted and supplied full PPE equipment.
To Apply:
Tertiary qualification in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience is preferred. As this position is entry-level, this is suitable for recent graduates.
Full training can be provided to someone who would like to learn the field.
